Deb began her career working in transportation finance for Airborne Freight, then Northern Air Freight which eventually became DHL. She has also worked as a Senior Finance Manager at the Lynden Company Headquarters in Seattle. In 1993, she started her own company which contracted with freight companies to facilitate their existing departments or to act as their sole resource. Karen Trudel

Her career started in banking where she worked as a teller then worked her way up to the Assistant to the Operations Officer. She gained experience in building relationships with clients, managing employees and working with clients on the nuances of business banking.

Trudel then transitioned to working for her father-in-law in his tax business in 1998. Shortly after, she received her Tax Preparer Certification from H&R Block. By 2010, she had transitioned to running her own business Trudel Tax which she still owns today.

Phill Esau

Compassionate and detail oriented, Phill Esau can best be described as a social services entrepreneur. He has a broad spectrum of experience in social service, health and education services, and property management.

Phill is a co-founder of the now called Lower Mainland Purpose Society for Youth and Families, a multi-service organization that delivers a continuum of programs to children, youth, and families. As the organization grew it developed an alternative school which was a fully registered for kids who didn’t do well in the regular school system. Phill was the Principal of this alternative high school for 33 years.
